SFC Partners

Spiritual Frontiers Canada is very grateful of the spiritual abundance in the community. Sometimes, we partner with other people and other groups for short term or long term projects. Our partners past and present: Energy Balance Exchange, Heart and Soul Light Centre, Mother Meera, and The Bright Path.

Energy Balance Exchange Evenings (EBEE)

The intent of the EBEE is to contribute to one another's wellness. By doing so, enhances our collective well-being.

Usually on the last Monday evening of each month, EBEE meets at the Ottawa Citizen Building, 1101 Baxter Road in Ottawa for 7:00pm to share energy balancing. It is a lovely opportunity to practice your energy balancing modalities, such as Reiki, Hands on Healing, Touch for Health, Reflexology, etc. Particpants practice on one another.

In an opening circle, the facilitator explains how the Exchange is based on honouring other individuals' gifts and situations, on interacting with other participants as equals in a life-enhancing positive manner.

Just as like attracts like, participants accept the knowing that any process can balance any indication at the matching frequency level for the highest good. For clarity and understanding, participants are asked to write down briefly both:

Participants mingle and match with one another for one-on-one, one-to-many, and many-to-one balance exchanges. Participants often get two or more exchanges in an evening. Miracles are not guaranteed. EBEE acknowledges they may happen, and welcomes when they do.

Background: Originally started as "meet & exchange evenings" in 1998 with Thomas M. Tegtmeyer, under "A Centre of Experiential Oneness". Ten years later, in 2008, Thomas, under The Metta 'loving kindness' Institute for Well-being (a Division of Well-being and Transformation), sponsored the evenings in larger facilities at 1101 Baxter Road in the Ottawa Citizen Building. Starting in 2009, as a pilot project for community service , Spiritual Frontiers Canada co-sponsored the monthly gatherings at no financial cost to participants. The Calendar page has EBEE upcoming dates.

Heart and Soul Light Centre (H+SLC)

The Heart and Soul Light Centre, located in Aylmer, Quebec, was founded by Interfaith Spiritual Director Judith Matheson in 1998. It is a spiritual growth centre that helps people meet and engage in the healing process, growing in right relationship with each other, embracing the connectedness of all things especially as it relates to First Nations Aboriginal ways. The Heart and Soul Light Centre has been in partnership with SFC since 2007, co-presenting Spirituality Evenings to expand consciousness around specific themes such as:

These annually reoccurring events are held on both sides of the river in Ottawa and Gatineau. They create the sacred space by which people can experience being in circle.

The purpose of these gatherings is to build bridges between communities and help people to be in more authentic relationship through sharing that creates mutual understanding and community. These events inspire people to experience that they have more in common than the separateness that they have been conditioned to see. Speakers are given the opportunity to share who they are and what they are doing that makes a difference. By being in circle, it is also an opportunity for participants to experience the Aboriginal ways of honouring each other and the Earth. Awakening to the significance of their own stories and the power we all have in honouring the deep need for justice, equality, honour and respect, we see that we are given wisdom and strength.

Guest speakers also bring their artistic talents of poetry or drumming as well as ceremony. These circles affirm the emergence of grassroots ordinary people taking back their own power and using their unique talents and gifts in these changing times. Having the courage to listen to others with different perspectives participants gain new insights.

The annual Unity in Diversity celebration is a pot luck dinner. It includes lead entertainer First Nations Cree Singer Song Writer Bevan Skerratt and many other wonderful entertainers representing different cultures. This evening celebrates the vision and dream of Elder Grandfather William Commanda for a Culture of Peace and a Circle of All Nations embracing the dream of building a National Aboriginal Centre in the heart of Canada.

Mother Meera Society, 2008

In 2008, certified Master Teacher & Practitioner in Zenith Omega, Cathryn Green (www.ZenithOmegaCanada.ca) referred us to the Mother Meera Society, who was considering Ottawa as a place to have Mother Meera give Darshans.

It all jelled together. The event took place on October 2nd, 2008 thanks to the help of kind volunteers of the Mother Meera Society in Quebec, friends in Ottawa, including Cathryn and her husband, Master Past Life & Spiritual Journey Facilitator, Allan Green (www.AllanGreen.ca) and volunteers of Spiritual Frontiers Canada.

Mother Meera is considered to be an Avatar by many of her devoted followers. She was born on December 26th, 1960, in the village of Chandepalle in Southern India. She soon showed herself to be an unusual child. Her parents treated her as exceptional and loved her very much. The family was not especially religious and she was not brought up in any tradition. Mother Meera is known internationally and gives Darshans in many countries. http://www.MereMeeraDarshanCanada.com

Mother Meera gave free Silent Blessings, called Darshans. A Darshan is the bestowal of Love, Light and Grace. There are no teachings, no rituals, no chanting in her method. Only Silent Blessings.

People who have received Darshans felt her gaze penetrated their soul, heart and mind. Silence expresses her beauty and majestic power, her love and purity.

It was a lovely experience. The hall was packed both day and evening. It had been a one time event for both organizations partnering together. Mother Meera continues to come to Ottawa. If you are interested in meeting her and receiving a Darshan in her future visits, please view their website at www.MereMeeraDarshanCanada.com.

The Bright Path, 2008

Credit is given to Spiritual Frontiers Canada's (SFC) volunteer treasurer for making this one-time partnership happen. Charles Gregoire was personally involved with The Bright Path. He took the course, 1st spheres, in the fall of 2006.

Charles was inspired with the idea of linking the two organizations together for a special event, especially after viewing The Bright Path's 2007 DVD called "The Keys to Endless Peace & Joy". He bought the DVD and shared it with the volunteer SFC Program Committee.

Both organizations came together and provided a special event on Aug 5, 2008 called "Keys to Endless Peace & Joy".

The Bright Path offers an ancient, effortless Teaching of Truth called The Ishayas' Ascension. Ascension is a series of simple, mechanical techniques, called Ascension Attitudes, which have the potential to free the mind of all limitation. For more information on The Bright Path, please go to www.TheBrightPath.ca.
